My garden is in zone 8b - 9a.I love edible landscaping, tropical fruits, weird vegetables, some not so weird vegetables, and mostly purple flowers.
Lately, I've been really into the idea of using what you have, instead of going out to buy something you think you need. I've been bit by the "sustainability" bug although I've always been mindful of how I do things and how it affects my environment.

Rollinia Updates
8/29 Took my Rollinia home. 3 gal pot (10") about 5 ft tall.
9/10 new growth shortly after I repotted into a 7 gal pot.
9/24 lots of new growth. The huge bright green leaf in the center was not there when I first bought this tree.
I am an Abstract Painter. My works are nature-inspired and reminiscent of natural forms. Search for JTrinh and you'll find them. I believe everyone should own original, real, hand-made art. I hope one day to create art fast enough so I can reach as many people as possible with my art. I do accept commissions but most of my work is not reproducible. Contact me about anything!
